Fire ants are the one pest that generates phone calls from people who are not your customer — parents, residents, tenants. In Florida this is a year-round programme, not a summer nuisance, and it is the item most commercial pest contracts underserve.
What we treat, and where.
- Broadcast treatment across turf, plus direct mound treatment where they have established
- Walkways, playgrounds, athletic fields and anywhere people sit on the ground
- Around AC pads, utility boxes, irrigation heads and pavers, which is where mounds hide
- Commercial grounds, storage yards, display islands and landscaping beds
- Repeat coverage on the rotation, because a single knockdown does not hold in Florida
- Loose, fluffy mounds of soil with no visible opening, often appearing overnight after rain
- Ants that swarm aggressively when the mound is disturbed rather than scattering
- Stings that leave a white pustule a day later
- Mounds clustered along pavement edges, irrigation lines and the sunny side of a building
Why one treatment never holds
A single mound treatment kills the mound you can see. Florida properties have mounds you cannot see, and neighbouring colonies move in within weeks. What works is a broadcast programme on a rotation with direct treatment of anything active. That is why fire ant is part of the standing plan here rather than a one-off call-out.

How long until they are gone?
Direct mound treatment works quickly. Broadcast coverage takes longer to fully express and is what stops new colonies establishing. Expect a real difference within the first cycle.
