The quarter-inch that explains everything
A mouse needs a gap the width of a pencil. A rat needs about a quarter. Walk any commercial building at dusk with a torch on the outside and look for light showing under the doors. In most facilities we survey, one worn dock seal or door sweep explains the entire interior problem. We fix that first, then trap what is already inside.

Do you use bait inside?
Rarely, and not in food handling areas. Interior work is trapping and monitoring so nothing dies somewhere you cannot reach it.
Will the stations be visible to customers?
Exterior stations are discreet, tamper-resistant and placed where they work rather than where they are seen. They are numbered so anyone can find them on the map.
