This is the single most common call we get from a bar, and it is the one most often treated wrong. Fruit flies are not an air problem. They are a breeding site problem, and the site is almost always somewhere nobody has lifted in a year.
What we treat, and where.
- Bar wells, soda gun holsters and the drip trays under them
- The rubber floor mats behind the bar, and what is underneath them
- Floor sinks, drain lines and the organic film inside them
- Beer taps, drain lines from the cooler and the walk-in floor
- Dry storage, produce areas and the bin corral
- Small tan or brown flies hovering around the bar rather than the dining room
- Numbers that spike late in service and are gone by morning
- The problem returning within days of a treatment that seemed to work
- Flies concentrated at one station rather than spread across the room
We don't just spray. We find the source.
We don't just spray. We find the source and get rid of the problem. In practice that means pulling the mat, opening the floor sink and checking the soda gun holster before anything is applied. Nine times out of ten it is the organic film inside a drain line under the bar station, which no amount of spraying the air will ever touch.
See it again? We come back free.
Covered pests are included in your service plan. If something turns up between visits we come back and re-treat at no extra charge. New customers take $50 off the initial service.
Straight answers.
How fast will they go?
Once the breeding site is treated, the adult population dies off within days because their lifecycle is short. If it comes back, the source was missed and we come back free.
Do we have to close the bar?
No. This work is done before open or after close and does not need the bar out of service.
Send us a photo and we will tell you what it is before we quote you anything.
